Resmark, Windward plan Kirkland, Mukilteo projects

Resmark Land and Housing, and Windward Real Estate Services will develop two for-sale housing projects in Kirkland and Mukilteo.

The projects are the seventh and eighth in this region for Resmark Land and Housing.

The Kirkland project is 12 units in two three-story condo buildings near Fourth Avenue and Second Street. The units are all three bedrooms with two-and-a-half baths, and range in size from 2,107 to 2,280 square feet. Medici Architects of Bellevue is designing the project.

Construction and presales are expected to begin early next year.

The Mukilteo project will have a total of 44 units, including 32 condos in four buildings and eight cottages. The cottages will range from 1,464 to 1,532 square feet. Duplexes will range from 1,931 to 2,301 square feet.

McCullough Architects of Seattle is designing the condos and Medici is designing the cottages and duplexes.

The site is at 53rd Avenue West and 80th Street Southwest. Construction is set to begin this fall, and sales will start in the spring.

Resmark Land and Housing is a division of Los Angeles-based The Resmark Cos. Resmark has done more than 190 projects and 29,000 housing units.

Windward Real Estate Services is a development and construction company based in Kirkland that specializes in sites that are difficult to develop and build.
