SHA gets grant for arts at Yesler Terrace

Seattle Housing Authority said it has received a $678,000 grant from The Kresge Foundation for an art master plan as part of the redevelopment of Yesler Terrace. SHA will use the money to bring in artists to create and support art projects and programs throughout the neighborhood. SHA will expand an existing partnership with Seattle University to train young filmmakers. A team of faculty and students will evaluate and assess the impact of art in the neighborhood.
