Jacobis help fund new UW program

Windermere Real Estate founder John Jacobi and his wife, Rosalind, gave $5.4 million to University of Washington to start an undergraduate minor in real estate studies. The first courses will be offered in January 2017. The money also will help fund two new endowed faculty chairs at Runstad Center for Real Estate Studies in UW's College of Built Environments. The Jacobis attended UW and have supported several athletic programs.
