Su Development plans 258 units in Bellevue

Su Development wants to build a 23-story apartment tower and an adjacent seven-story building at 1021 112th Ave. N.E. in downtown Bellevue.

Early design review documents show the complex would have a total of 258 units, two levels of retail and five levels of underground parking with 439 spaces.

Linda Abe, director of development for Su, said the goal is to begin construction in spring 2017.

ZGF Architects is designing the complex, and CDG Workshop, Su's contracting division, will be the contractor. DCI Engineers is the structural and civil engineer.

Puget Sound Blood Center is located on the site today.

Su Development has done other high rises in downtown Bellevue.

Soma Towers at Northeast Second Street and 106th Avenue Northeast will have two towers with a total of 273 apartments when it is complete. The first phase is a 21-story tower with 148 units that opened in 2014. The second 17-story tower is under construction now and will have 125 units. Abe said preleasing for the second tower begins in May, and the team expects to get a temporary certificate of occupancy in August.

On 10th Avenue Northeast, Su built two apartment buildings called 989 Elements and Elements Too, with a total of 440 units. They opened in 2006 and 2009, respectively.
