The January NAIOP breakfast meeting has the tantalizing theme of “Lessons From Auckland,” which is where 2015 and 2016 Runstad Fellows visited to study urban planning and development in New Zealand. Speaking on their observations and experiences will be Joe David of Point32, Rick Mohler of the University of Washington and Mohler + Ghillino Architects, Barbara Swift of Swift Company, Giovanni Migliaccio of the University of Washington, Ben Broesamle of Jonathan Rose Companies, and two students: Genevieve Hale-Case and Amy Hartman. The event takes place at 7 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 18 at Hyatt Olive 8. Registration and details: naiopwa.org.
