Factoria mall next for a makeover, with apartments, hotel, retail redo

  • The makeover will double the size of the property, to more than one million square feet.

    Northgate will be redeveloped as the light rail nears. The Village at Totem Lake has already begun its residential-retail redo. Lincoln Square is already there. Apartments are planned all around the periphery of University Village. And even down in Tukwila, as Westfield Southcenter Mall contemplates the likely closure of Sears, we're seeing more apartments sprout near the Transit Center.
