Guild Mortgage expands near SLU

San Diego-based lender Guild Mortgage has added a second Seattle office, near South Lake Union at 1100 Dexter Ave. N. That's across the street from its first Seattle location at 1000 Dexter, which it will keep. Guild said in a statement that since opening here in 2016, the SLU branch has branch has tripled in volume and more than doubled its staff. Julie Johnson leads the SLU team. She recently added Chris Dutton and Ryan Lopez to her team. Guild now has 35 branches and satellite offices statewide. Nationally it has over 4,000 employees, with 344 branch and satellite offices in 29 states.
