Los Angeles-based KB Home has entered the Pacific Northwest market. The publicly traded builder now operates in three dozen markets in eight states. Ryan Kemp will lead the local operation. Kemp has more than a decade of experience in the Seattle home building market, including leadership roles in land acquisition and business operations. He holds a B.A. Washington State University. He reports to Brian Kunec. Founded in 1957, KB has built over 600,000 homes to date, and reported $4.35 billion in revenues for 2017. The KB website lists a new development called Falling Water in Bonney Lake. KB has also purchased a second development site in King County.
