Hines sells 800 Fifth to Blackstone for $540M

The deal was worth around $450 per square foot for the whole building. It was developed in 1981. LMN designed the recent $46 million renovation.

The 800 Fifth Avenue building, at 800 Fifth Ave., has sold for almost $539.2 million, according to King County records. The seller was 800 5th Avenue Partners LLC, an entity of Hines, which acquired the property in 2014 for $276 million.
