Tacoma golf course sold for housing

TACOMA — Brookdale Golf Course, at 1802 Brookdale Road E. in Pierce County, has sold for $6.2 million, according to King County records. The seller was Brookdale Golf LLC, which had owned the property for decades.

The buyer was Ichijo USA Co., which is planning about 385 single-family homes on 156 acres. Two future lots may be reserved for commercial purposes. The project has been planned for about two years.
