2+U tower gets arts partners

By JOURNAL STAFF

SEATTLE — Skanska is partnering with local artist collective Shunpike and the Downtown Seattle Association to launch free arts and cultural programing at Skanska's 2+U tower, which will open later this summer.

The 1,100-square-foot workshop and rehearsal space will be called The Studio and Shunpike will manage it. The Studio will be in the urban village below 2+U's 19- and 38-story towers.
