Ashley Furniture doubles Pierce Co. development site

  • The company has now spent about $20.6 million to assemble nearly 80 acres.

    Six months after Ashley Furniture Industries of Wisconsin paid $8.5 million for about 40 vacant acres near Frederickson, it has paid another $12.1 million to the separate owner of about 37.5 vacant acres on an adjacent site at 3501 208th St. E. and related addresses. Pierce County recorded the second sale last week.
