Branom Instrument property is sold

SEATTLE — An industrial/office building at 5500 Fourth Ave. S. has sold for $4.5 million, according to King County records. The seller was the Branom family, which had owned the property for decades. It's been the longtime home to Branom Instrument Co., which was established in 1947.

The buyer was JREA Real Estate LLC, associated with environmental chemist Friedman & Bruya, which is now based in Interbay. David Butler and Scott Clements of Orion Commercial Partners represented the buyer. Public records indicate a loan from First Citizens Bank & Trust.
