First Presbyterian files full-block demo plan

LMC is building apartment towers on former First Presbyterian parking lots next to Town Hall. Now, the church could be headed for redevelopment.

Five years ago, Seattle First Presbyterian Church sold its parking lots on the Town Hall block on First Hill for $9 million. That's where LMC is now building the two-tower Ovation apartments. LMC's financial partner, a Canadian pension fund manager, acquired the land from the church.
