NAIOP honors Microsoft, Vulcan and others at Night of the Stars

Elks Temple in Tacoma won Historic Renovation of the Year.

NAIOP's annual Night of the Stars awards gala was held on Friday at the Hyatt Regency Bellevue.

Here are the winners:

• Hall of Fame Inductee: John Torrance of J.R. Torrance Properties

Judges' Innovation Award (regional impact): Propeller Airports for Paine Field Passenger Terminal (with Fentress Architects of Denver)

• Judges' Innovation Award (vision): 621 Woodland Square Loop S.E. in Lacey by MJR Development (with Weber Thompson, for tenant Washington state Utilities and Transportation Commission)

• People's Choice Award: Microsoft Buildings 121 & 122 by Microsoft (with B+H Advance Strategy)

• Developer of the Year: MainStreet Property Group

• Affordable Housing Development of the Year: Liberty Bank Building by Capitol Hill Housing

• Community Impact Development of the Year: Eastside Community Center in Tacoma by Metro Parks Tacoma (with ARC Architects)

• High-Rise Residential Development of the Year: Kiara by Holland Partner Group

• Historic Renovation of the Year: Elks Temple Renovation in Tacoma by McMenamins

• Hospitality Development of the Year: Hyatt Regency Seattle by R.C. Hedreen Co.

• Industrial Development of the Year: Georgetown Crossroads by Prologis

• Multifamily Residential Development of the Year (under 100 Units): Bogtown Flats by Rush Cos. and Pastakia + Associates

• Multifamily Residential Suburban Development of the Year (over 100 units): The Triangle by Legacy Partners

• Multifamily Residential Urban Development of the Year (over 100 units): Sitka by Vulcan Real Estate

• Office Development of the Year: Arbor Blocks by Vulcan Real Estate

• Office Interior of the Year: Big Fish Games Seattle Headquarters by IA (aka Interior Architects)
