LMC eyes Crown Hill for apartments

SEATTLE — A senior housing plan at 8501 15th Ave. N.W. has been dormant for over a year and appears to be dead. Now a new prospective buyer for the property, LMC, has filed a very preliminary and undetailed plan for a new building. Clark Barnes is the architect.

LMC, aka Lennar Multifamily Communities, develops apartment buildings. Since the old four-story Living Care Lifestyles plan was first filed for what was to have been called Quail Park Crown Hill, the 30,940-square-foot corner site has been upzoned to 75 feet, making it more attractive to a large developer.
