Johnson & Carr joins plan to redevelop Pioneer Square site

  • The prolific apartment developer is teaming up with Urban Visions to build an 84-unit building with retail.

    Urban Visions’ site, between McCoy’s Firehouse and 200 Occidental, could be filled with a new eight-story apartment building.

    The rubble-filled pit at 165 S. Washington St. in Pioneer Square has been untouched, apart from a mural on the surrounding fence, since 2003. However, there's now an apartment plan taking shape, as the DJC first reported in May.
