Seco adds to Southport land

RENTON — A 7.7-acre future development site at 900 Lake Washington Blvd. N. in Renton has sold for $13.5 million, according to King County records. The buyer was an LLC associated with Seco Development, whose Southport Development is immediately to the north.

The seller was Puget Sound Energy, which had owned the property for decades. It was once part of the same Shuffleton steam plant complex that PSE sold to Seco in 1999 for $7 million.
