New protest mural in SLU



The 9th & Thomas building, at 234 Ninth Ave. N. in South Lake Union, opened circa 2018. The Olson Kundig-designed building is leased to Amazon. Soon after opening, the owners — led by the Redman family, which owns Sellen Construction, which built it — put up a large Shepard Fairey mural, “Target Exceptions,” which addressed immigration. (There's another on the State Hotel, if you're keeping track.)
