U District church now on the block

SEATTLE — As the DJC first reported in May, the former Third Church of Christ Scientist, at 4740 17th Ave. N.E., appears bound for demolition. Now current owner Churchome has it listed for sale.

CBRE is the broker for the 21,600-square-foot corner, at Northeast 50th Street, which last traded in 2006 for $4.5 million.
