Ivar's to ‘hibernate' some restaurants

By JOURNAL STAFF

SEATTLE — Ivar's is temporarily closing its Acres of Clams and Salmon House full-service restaurants on Pier 54 and Lake Union in Seattle starting Monday because of a significant drop in business from the COVID-19 pandemic and resulting restrictions.

“We fear when the weather changes and the rains return, we lose outside dining and we won't have any customers,” said Bob Donegan of Ivar's in a press release.
