93 Capitol Hill units head into design review

The Regan/Kaladi building lies in the heart of the Pike-Pine corridor, aka the former Auto Row.

As the DJC first reported in August, Hunters Capital intends to buy and redevelop the old two-story building at 517 E. Pike St. It's one of Capitol Hill's survivors from the old Auto Row, which dates to 1910. That structure, or its shell, will be preserved in the mixed-use plan by Studio Meng Strazarra — thus gaining extra floor area via preservation incentives.
