Interbay apartments slated to replace old car wash

The south end of the planned building, at Bertona, would be a short walk to the QFC and RapidRide bus stop.

Apartments are allowed only in certain areas of Interbay. One such site is 3435 15th Ave. W. — a long, skinny parcel that's most recently been home to a car wash, parking lot, food trucks and the Java Jazz espresso stand. Now the owner and Caron Architecture have revived an old plan from 2014 to redevelop with apartments.
