A forested, unimproved hillside parcel at 12410 N.E. Totem Lake Way has sold for just under $3 million, according to King County records. The buyer was Kirkland TWG LLLP, associated with TWG of Indianapolis, which is planning about 115 affordable units on the site. The DJC first reported the project last month, which the city calls Grata @ Totem Lake.
The seller was Kirkland Canopy Apartments LLC, associated with Pathfinder Partners of San Diego and MainStreet Property Group. The latter had previously planned 59 units on the property. Pathfinder acquired the vacant land as part of a larger 2012 purchase of the neighboring Pines at Totem Lake, which it retains. The land was later subdivided.
