Weber Thompson's old SLU HQ sells to Swiss insurer for $52M

Terry Thomas has operable windows, a central courtyard and other green features that use about half the energy of a comparable sized building.

The Terry Thomas Building, at 225 Terry Ave. N., has sold for a little over $52.1 million, according to King County records. The seller was Terry and Thomas Land Associates LLC, which is associated with the original developers. They paid nearly $1.9 million for the corner site in 2006, not long before Amazon moved to South Lake Union.
