Rendering by NBBJ [enlarge]
In this view, looking northwest, Bellevue 600's first tower stands out as the tallest new tower made possible under the city’s new zoning. Its Phase II companion site is hidden by the greenish tower in the left foreground.

Amazon and architect NBBJ have received city of Bellevue approval for Phase I of the Bellevue 600 project, at 600 108th Ave. N.E. The 43-story tower, with over 1.1 million square feet of offices, has also received a SEPA determination of non-significance from the city. The appeal period ends Jan. 21.
