Capitol Hill landmark to get a little taller, plus seismic retrofit

From autos to linen to office space, the century-old building is about to enter a new chapter.

On Capitol Hill's old Auto Row, the Baker Linen Building last traded in 2014 for $5.4 million to a group led by developer/preservationist Liz Dunn. Last year the ownership successfully submitted the small three-story building for landmarking. Now there's a renovation/addition plan for 1101 E. Pike St., on the corner of 11th Avenue.
