Block 5 at Spring District moves closer to start, with no tenant announced

Looking southwest, Facebook’s Block 6 is planned on the corner; Block 5 is west (right) of that. Some old Safeway warehouses remain to the north and east.

Facebook has to date claimed all of offices, both built and planned, at the Spring District in East Bellevue. For well over a year, Wright Runstad and architect NBBJ have been planning Block 5, at 1615 123rd Ave. N.E., which could be next in line to break ground. That 11-story office building recently received a SEPA determination of non-significance from the city. The appeal period ends April 1.
