Four months after selling its landmarked former headquarters in Belltown, Seattle Labor Temple has purchased a new home in SoDo. King Country recorded the $12.3 million sale on Tuesday. The seller at 5030 First Ave. S. was United Food & Commercial Workers Union Local 21, which acquired the building in 2006 for $6.3 million.
Heartland represented the Labor Temple, and Peter Argeres and Mark Alfieri of Yates, Wood & MacDonald represented UFCW21. The deal was worth about $306 per square foot. Public records indicate a loan from the Bank of Labor.
