Perkins + Will working on BioMed Realty's full-block project

BioMed Realty recently paid over $63 million to acquire from Clise Properties the full block at 200 Taylor Ave. N. and related addresses. Now Perkins and Will and Turner Construction have filed a demo plan for the vacant old Executive Inn at 200 Taylor.

That's no guarantee as to who will eventually design and build what's projected to be a 500,000-square-foot office and life-science project, but it's a clue. The proposed development hasn't yet entered design review. Other, smaller old warehouse and office buildings are still in use, but also bound for future demolition.
