Waterfront groups seek to block AMLI's 17-story apartment tower

A part or not a part? AMLI says it has nothing to do with the Gonzaga strip.

The plan for a 17-story, 245-unit apartment building on the full block at 1101 Western Ave., now a parking lot, goes back some four years — as the DJC first reported. The proposal by AMLI Residential and GGLO to ground lease the Gonzaga-owned property and put up a new tower was approved by the city in April, thus nearing it to a master-use permit.
