SEATTLE — As the Seattle City Council's Finance and Housing Committee deliberates on a spending plan for Seattle's American Recovery Plan Act (ARPA) funds, community and business leaders are urging city leaders to direct this revenue toward solving chronic homelessness.
The Downtown Seattle Association, Seattle Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce, the Downtown Emergency Service Center, Plymouth Housing and other groups sent a letter to committee chair Teresa Mosqueda, imploring the city to focus on its most pressing need.
