A 1.5-acre midblock land offering, slightly west of downtown Kent, went back on the market about three years ago. It's owned by a large number of small local investors. Ted Sipila and Austin Kelley of Kidder Mathews are offering the property, along with Morgan Llewellyn of Llewellyn Real Estate, with an asking price of $4 million. The status is described as pending.
Prospective buyer DevCo is now well into the permit process for what it calls Ovation at Meeker, at 623 W. Meeker St., which will be a five-story, 218-unit senior community. Its related construction arm Heartland would build the project. Charlie Morgan is the architect, and CPH Consultants is the civil engineer. DevCo also says the land sale will close today.
