Spring District's GIX building sells for $85M

The academic center lies near the center of the Spring District, facing its central greenspace.

In the third in a series of big sales at the Spring District, the GIX building has traded for $85 million. The buyer of record was OE GIX LLC, which is associated with both Brookfield Properties — which made the last two major purchases — and Shorenstein Properties, which has been Wright Runstad's partner in the overall development.
