High Street pays $12M for TOD site, with 140 Roosevelt units planned

The new owner has all permits in place for the midrise project.

A demolition permit was issued last month for the Healing Arts Building, at 6300 Ninth Ave. N.E., a short walk to Roosevelt Station, which opens this fall. The master use permit was issued a year ago for White/Peterman Properties' planned seven-story, 140-unit apartment building. The initial planning for what's now dubbed Corner 63 began about four years ago, concurrent with the $9 million land sale.
