This view looks north across Rainier at the proposed apartments.

Developer, architect and likely builder Bode is planning a new apartment building on the polluted former Rossoe Oil property at 9367 Rainier Ave S. in Rainier Beach. Bode acquired the corner site last year, which is still awaiting cleanup — likely after demolition and before shoring begins. No basement level is planned, meaning some contaminated soils could be capped in place.
