An apparently vacant SoDo industrial building at 3401 Colorado Ave. S. has sold for a bit over $5.2 million, according to King County records. The buyer was Levee Breaks LLC, which is associated with the founders and owners of Georgetown Brewing. Public records indicate a loan from Zions Bank. No new plans have been filed, and the brewer didn't respond to queries about its acquisition.
The seller was Buffalo Industries, now of Kent, which acquired the property in 1989 for over $1.1 million. The deal was worth about $165 per square foot. Neil Walter Co. has been offering the building for sale or lease — along with two other Buffalo Industries buildings at different locations.
