GMN sells HQ for nearly $28M, with no plans to leave Interbay

GMN, previously called GM Nameplate, has sold its longtime home in Interbay for a little over $27.8 million. King County recorded the sale at 2040 15th Ave. W. last week. The seller of record was Boyd GMN.

Boyd Corp. of California, which is owned by Goldman Sachs, purchased GMN at the end of June. Terms were not announced for that deal, in which the seller was the Root family and some GMN employees. Puget Sound Business Journal first reported that pending deal, in May.
