176 Bel-Red units planned near station

    Prospective buyer Koz Development is now planning a six-story 176-unit apartment building, which would replace an old strip mall at 13800 N.E. Bel-Red Road. That's about a 13-minute walk west to Bel-Red/130th Station, where light rail service will begin in 2023.

    The plan, by the firm's in-house design team, hasn't yet entered design review; so it's more of a feasibility study at present. Koz estimates a project size of up to 112,000 square feet.
