Davis claims TNT site for over $15M, plans new logistics center

Construction will start this month on the new building.

The over 13-acre Tacoma News Tribune property, at 1950 S. State St., went on the market in 2019. It then traded last year to Chatham Asset Management, which had purchased McClatchy, the corporate parent to the TNT, out of Chapter 11 bankruptcy. That was merely an interim step to future sale.
