65 Fremont units headed back to design review

This perspective looks northwest at the planned building, which would replace an old commercial complex with tenants including Rhodes Architectural Stone.

Right on the line between Ballard and Fremont is an old corner commercial building at 106 N.W. 36th St. It last traded for about $3.3 million in 2014. Plans emerged about two years ago to redevelop with apartments; the plans came from EB-5 developer North America Asset Management Group, which appears to be partnering with the current property owner.
