Amazon to open new warehouse in Fife

    The logistics site is relatively close to Interstate 5 and the Port of Tacoma.

    Amazon announced this week that it’s begun hiring for a new 520,000 square-foot “sort center” at 7449 45th St. Court E. in Fife . That’s a little south of Interstate 5, north of the Puyallup River, on land owned by the Puyallup Tribe. The tribe’s economic development arm, Marine View Ventures, is in charge of the logistics project. The new building was developed by Panattoni, and built by Alston Construction. AHBL appears to have been the architect.
