Alexandria's Mercer Blocks near its final form

Looking north across Mercer, the west (left) building will include a large community center and childcare facility.

Alexandria Real Estate Equities officially calls its two planned 13-story lab/office towers in South Lake Union the Mercer Blocks. That roughly 865,000-square-foot project, at 816 Mercer St., has its next design review on Nov. 17, in a likely virtual presentation.
