Kamiak pays $8M for Wallingford site, with 130 units planned

By BRIAN MILLER

The Stoneway Hardware property, at 4318 Stone Way N. , has sold for $8 million, according to King County records. The buyer was Stone 43 LLC, associated with Kamiak Real Estate. As the DJC first reported in June, it had filed a six-story, 130-unit apartment plan, with Hybrid Architecture as the designer.

The seller was the Rosellini family, which had owned the property for decades. The separately owned hardware store announced that it would close next month. It also has a newer location in Ballard. The property is or was also home to Fathom, a printing shop. Both the old buildings will eventually be removed.
