Alliance now plans 362 Redmond units near future light rail station

The saga of the former downtown Redmond post office property, at 16135 N.E. 85th St., is now well into its second decade. The city has already approved a two-building plan for the 2.3-acre site, which was acquired by Cosmos Development in 2010 for about $5.5 million. Since then, with Jackson Main Architecture, the basic plan had been a varying mix of offices and apartments in two midrise buildings with a shared podium and courtyard.
