Evo has big plans for Fremont block

    Last month, Evolution Projects bought an office project and corner site at 3524 Stone Way N., just north of its Evo store in Fremont. The $14.5 million purchase from SRM Development and Schwartz Co. came during a flurry of other year-end sales. That same week, Evo acquired a small portion of the same block, on Interlake Avenue North, for $1.7 million. Three years ago it paid $6 million for the larger northeast corner. And all the way back in 2013, it nabbed the southeast corner for $850,000.
