Carmel's plan for 243 Fremont units edges closer to MUP

Looking southwest, with 38th in the foreground, the planned building will be a short walk to central Fremont’s shops and stores.

The vacant old Stoneway Electric complex in Fremont, at 3665 Stone Way N., is moving closer to demolition. That permit is in process from landowner Carmel Partners. And, with VIA Architecture, its proposal for an eight-story, 243-unit apartment building recently received a SEPA determination of non-significance. That moves the project closer to a master use permit.
