To arrive at Northgate Station: 232 affordable apartments

Looking northwest, the county will keep the south (left) portion of the park-and-ride lot — though that will eventually be redeveloped, too.

Back in 2018, three years before light rail service began at Northgate Station, King County was planning to put affordable housing on a sizable chunk of its old park-and-ride lot there. Two years later, Bridge Housing and Community Roots Housing were selected to develop the site that now goes by 151 N.E. 103rd St. That's east of the station, south of the mall (now renamed Northgate Station), and west of the Thornton Place cinemas and apartments.
