Planned 239 Ballard units move closer to sale or start

Looking southwest, the midrise project is one of four planned along that stretch of Market, on both sides of the street.

Architect Skidmore Janette says that its apartment project at 907 N.W. Market St. in Ballard has been approved following a virtual design review last month. The proposal now stands at five stories and 239 units, which the architect describes as workforce housing. Another clue in that direction is the lack of any parking, though future tenants will have nearly 200 bike stalls.
