Hotel planned in Bellingham

The project would replace a former restaurant building.

An old Bellingham commercial building at 1111 Donovan Ave., once home to Stanello's restaurant, appears bound for demolition. The owner, a local family investor group, plans to raze the structure and put up a new five-story hotel in the southeast quarter of old Fairhaven, three miles south of downtown Bellingham.
